About Stacy Michelle Smith
Fine Art photography created by
Texas-born photographer,
Stacy Michelle Smith.
I began photography at the young age of three when I would follow my father around on his excursions and adventures. That is where I developed the love of photographing textures and patterns in nature. I like to create images of nature's brilliant hues focusing on life's tiniest portraits.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media (Photography) and English from Houston Baptist University.
My photography has shifted in recent years to focus more on nature, particularly flowers. I find great wonder in the minute details of each individual bloom. Every petal, pistil, anther, and leaf is unique. The patterns, textures, and colors are always mesmerizing and captivating. These small living organisms are so complex and so beautiful, and every time I set foot outside there is something new to see.
